Only two short months into their marriage, Wynonna Judd and
Michael Scott “Cactus” Moser have experienced a tragedy that isn’t very likely in
most marriages. On Saturday, Judd and Moser were riding motorcycles when Moser
crossed the center line and hit an on-coming vehicle. Luckily, Judd was riding
a motorcycle of her own ahead of Moser.
Moser’s leg was severed in the crash and ultimately had to
be amputated above the knee. His hand was also damaged and had to be operated
upon. Judd has been by her husband’s side and even cancelled a show scheduled
the night of the accident. Other upcoming shows in Canada have been postponed.
This is likely so Judd can stay with her husband, but it may be due in part to
the fact that Moser is Judd’s drummer.
In addition to the injuries he sustained, Moser now has to deal with the law. Police have stated he will be cited on two counts related to the accident.
